Cristy arrived Nov 4 and we had been fiddling with getting settled.
Well, we needed an excuse to get the job done, so we decided to have a housewarming on Saturday, Nov 14. We got to work 2 days ahead and the house finally looks like people are here to stay for a while.

The night of the party, we had more people in our little place than I thought would fit. They were mostly all people we knew for some time since I first moved to Zacatecas. One surprise guest was a travel writer from Australia who is good friends with my former landlord's wife.
Cristy made a trio of dynamite snacks (secret family recipes) which disappeared as soon as they were served. The main dish was green pozole. And, chocolate cake for dessert.
